On page 134 of the March '05 Stereophile, a cd by Anna Netrebko is reviewed and given five stars for both performance & sonics. I only hope she performs as well on cd as she does on that page. What a BABE! I'm getting it. I mean that.

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thanks Doro, she's my new honey. She looks a lot better in the Stereophile image than anything else so far, but all those images will ably assist me in my "research". You da man.

I read that very same thing and was impressed also. I really do need a collection of great cd's for the Bomb shelter. I'm not talking great music in which we all love and enjoy but stellar recording of many different flavors.

Henry,
I'll admit that I wouldn't have read anything if her picture wasn't on that page. How about you?

I was just reading the same thing. I thought it was Shania at first. I will admit, the picture caught my attention.

I don't like the picture on her homepage. She's got that Audrey Hepburn thing going on there. I'm not into it. Now the picture in Stereophile..................

WHOA WHOA WHOA there Mr. Grand!!!! What will Jennie McCarthy say? Have we finally found someone to top her?
I have to say, Anna has a damn sexy look!
JohnNo excuses! -
Jenny doesn't freakin' know I'm alive. What will she say? She's not going to say much with a handkerchief full of chloroform over her face. Maybe a couple muffled cries. You know, that foreplay stuff.

LMAO George!
I love it! Straight and to the point. No BS kind of man.
Keep up the fine work.
JohnNo excuses! -
Guys,
She was on Jay Leno a couple of weeks ago, so try to catch the repeat. I am sure you guys can Tivo or do something to make sure you can catch a look.
Believe me, it's worth it. -
In a stroke of pure genius, I decided to check the BX's section of "classical" music during my lunch break. Incredible yet true, nestled in between Bela Fleck & The Flecktones (you just didn't THINK they were a classical band), and The U.S. Army Band & Chorus (another ensemble that immediately comes to mind when I think classical) was.....you got it. My new babe.
She has the voice of an angel. Simply glorious. The cover art? NICE SHOES!
Highly recommended.
That is all, you are dismissed.

Cool. Is that hardcore opera or x-over/modern opera? She's hot but Sarah Brightman is still my sugar momma.
Maurice -
I didn't know there was a new type opera. Is that "rap" opera, or "country" opera? Perhaps Hip-Hopera?
This is hard-core stuff and I know it's good because my wife, the former Theresa Talamonti, and my daughter Stephie hate it. Paybacks ARE a ****. It is now our official music for the dinner hour.

Mr. Grand,
Thanks for the tip sir. I'm always looking for something new to listen to.
Here is another one I just grabbed this past weekend. How about an angelic 28 year old Italian woman named Chiara? I'm listening to her right now; very nice and soothing to listen to. Light jazz with vocals. No sibilance whatsoever and well recorded.

so which CD would you guys reccomend to pick up first? Which one was reviewed in Stereophile?
-
Anna's was the one I read in Stereophile. I read the picture first.
Paul, thanks for the tip but jazzwise, Della's got it all for me. Anna's my intro to opera. She's got sinister footwear too, always a plus here.
