Loud Pop in rear speakers

Hello All,

Recently, I've been experiencing a very loud, sharp 'Pop' sometimes when I start up a DVD in Dolby Digital or DTS. It sounds like it's in the rear speakers, and it only happens when I start up a DVD after not playing my system for a while. It doesn't come back for the rest of the DVD. When I rewind/restart, the pop doesn't play again in the same spot where it did before (not at all, actually). The best way to describe the sound is like a lightbulb bursting, but quicker and a little more high pitched. Any ideas? Somehow, I didn't experience any of this until after I got a Behringer BFD, so I'm wondering if there's an electrical anomaly happening.
