Great deal on RT800i on Ebay

Just wanted to share my joy on an Ebay find that I swooped in and stole(IMHO). Somebody listed a pair of nice RT800i w/cherry finish. They are supposed to be in excellent condition (no scratches, etc). They had a Buy It Now for $325.(GULP!)
Most of the RT800i that have been on Ebay lately have sold for more than $450 a pair. Hell, somebody bought a pair of RT35i for almost $300 last night (on this forum!)
The seller was on the same side of the US, so shipping is reasonable. Can't wait to replace my RT25i with their much bigger brothers. Now I will use the extra set to make into rear channels! Hope they pass the WAF test.

    Good catch, you can bet the other two bidders are kicken there own **** right now for not pulling the trigger themselves...

    I've also been watching for some 800's and 55's...I sure missed this pair though,I live in the midwest also...Oh well,enjoy your new mains.

    The other two bids came from the same newbie who obviously didn't realize how good the BIN price was. He was testing to see what the reserve was. I guess my dilegence in searching Ebay for new listings payed off.

    I'll take those rt25i s off your hands if you don't already have a buyer. What would you take for them?

    nice snag billbillw. I think you're going to like the bass output on those RT800i's.. in CHERRY, even sweeter.

    I still have my 800i's from way back when they first came out. i'm still quite pleased with them. They look great in cherry. WTG my friend.

    Sorry Mike,
    I'm planning on using at least one of the RT25i as a rear channel to finally use that 6th channel of amplification. I'll probably keep the other for spare drivers.
