My local Circuit City only has the M60's and the M30's hooked up together in a 5 channel setup and you cant listen to them seperately so Ive never been able to give them a proper test drive.

This week, Ive been in Texas visiting me mum and I went to their local CC and they had em set up where I could play with all the speakers powered by a 75x6 Onk.

Man these things sound damn good! Very smooth and natural and extremely detailed. I liked them better than the Monitor 50 and 60. The highs werent quite as crisp as I remember the RTi6 being but they still sounded great. They had very good and smooth midbass and a very decent punch. Personally I thought they were the best sounding speakers in their demo room. And at $300 a pair, not a shabby deal either.

I have the M60, 50 and 30's at work. I can't stand any of them personally. They just flat out don't do it for me. I'd take a set of DCM DCM26's over them anyday! The 30's make me sick (hell, the R15's sound 10 times better IMO), the 50's are better (MUCH!) but still don't get me going, and the 60's are the best but still don't get me excited. I'm a HUGE polk fan but I just don't think they make a good tower until you hit the RTi10. Now bookshelves, the M30 is the only one I don't like...

Opinions, opinions differ, sometimes slightly, sometimes greatly, but they are always only opinions. And in my opinion the Monitor series work quite well.
