This movie is ALOT better than the first. Instead of just constant bs like the first, they actually have an actual PLOT, its amazing! ha!

Well it is pretty good, more suspense than horror. And yes, like I said - it actually has a plot.

So if you enjoyed the first Ring, and want to learn more about the tape and all that, I would definetely give it a view...

    Me too. I thought the first one was one of the all time scariest movies out. Ill be checking this one out soon as well.

    Just dont go into it prepared to get SCARED...because thats not what this movie is for...

    Its more so to build on to the story, to explain things left out...basically to explain the origins of the girl and the story behind the tape...

    They threw some scary parts in there to go in with the theme overall

    I just wasted $17 so my g/f and I could go waste 2 hours of our lives on this worthless waste of film. They don't explain jack squat! You don't learn anything about the tape or anything... it's just the original with a small twist in the plot because "Hey, we can make more money off the same story line." My god, I thought the kid was a crap actor in the first one, but in this he honestly should've been killed in the first 5 minutes. He should be banned from making another film. The "plot" as Sid likes to call it, was dry and so painfully boring, I had more fun making fun of the craptastic movie than I've had in a while. Seriously, they added content just to fill a full 2 hours BUT DIDN'T EXPLAIN ANY OF IT! 80% of the movie could've been taken out and you still would've walked away with the exact same feeling. Take that back, you would've been happier because it sucked so bad, you would be happy about not wasting a full 2 hours. Dear god Hollywood has been sucking it up BAD lately. Constantine has been about the only good movie I've seen on the big screen in well over a year. Sad...

    I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it...

    I actually enjoyed all the 'facts' or 'clues' or 'explinations' they threw out about the first movie and the tape, and the origins of the girl...made it all the more interesting.

    Although the scary parts werent really scary...

    I enjoyed it, and liked it better on the first one since they just werent trying to scare you half to death...

    Well Sid, I'll still check it out when it's on DVD.

    This kid! Gawdamighty!! Kids RUIN every movie theyre in. Jurasic Park WAS the worst one about this but this one just took the cake. I have never wanted to see a kid freaking die so bad in my life!

    The chick is super hot and I really enjoyed looking at her **** but other than that it was a really stupid movie.

    The plot was dumb and it didnt explain anything at all! Was the girl a demon, was she demon possesed or what?

    If youre a fan of the first as I am you should see it I guess but wait til this comes out for rental and wait til it goes off "New Release" cause its only worth a $ .99 rental.

    jurassic park was a cool movie but they butchered an awesome book....didn't see this movie and don't plan on it. :D

    IMO, worst kid ever: SW: Episode 1. That little effer Anny doing his best to out do Jar-Jar as the worst/most annoying charactor in the history of those movies.

    The one exception to your rule: The Sixth Sense.

    The Ring 2: Best example of the greed of hollywood believing that they can strike gold twice in the same dig. Slow moving, almost to the point of boredom. Even my teenage kids were thumbs down on this one.
