    Okay, so I guess the general consensus -1 is caps wont hurt.

    that's because in the SPL world, not even caps can discharge power quick enough for the second long burps of pressure. But yeah, kids don't really know why they have them, other than to say "Hey look, I've got a cap! POWER!!!" Tools...
