I am kind of confused with the manual, if I hook up a power amp to the line outs of the Zone 2, would I have volume control? It says it is a fixed output.

If it says it's fixed, then it's probably a 200 mv fixed output- Like a rec out. basically it'll be the same volume as if you hooked a DVD lpayer straight to your power amp. So you can either get a preamp or if your power amp has a 1v sensitivity, that'll be plenty for most the time so you can just use a line level/ speaker level volume control. You'll just lose roughly the top 6db of the amp's power... but you'll never have to worry about frying your speakers.
