Before I get my system set up I was wondering what the alternator should be rated at to have a rockford fosgate bd1000.1 at full power and the pioneer premier DEH-P930 with the MOSFET 50Wx4 rating in the radio so my truck will start after I use my system???
It's in the shop right now so I haven't had a chance to look at the rating. My truck is a 96 gm sierra extended cab w/out the third door.
Oh, and before I forget, did I see something to have the punch bass all the way down...or was it all the way up...or was I just seeing things and it doesn't really matter? i have the rockford fosgate bd1000
ive put this up before but kim never replied
Thanks again

thanks
ive looked all over the alternator for a label or something and i cant find it anywhere
im pretty sure i can get it from a book i have
does it matter if you have a 1000 watt or 500 watt cap if you dont need it all too much??
and all i see on crutchfield is lightening audio and rockford fosgate for those caps
i like rockford fosgate but for $140 less is then lightening audio
so would you recommend lightening audio??
and ill remember to keep the punch bass down
oo and one more thing
i know your are supposed to have .88 cubic feet for each sub
how much off can you be and not be in danger of blowing ur sub or losing too much bass?
thanks again
