Question for SDA experts

Kinda new to the vintage Polks. I've heard that the SDA speakers are very picky on amplification requirements. Something to due with special grounding requirements? Is there any truth to this?

I've been looking at a good deal on some SDA-2a locally and wondering if they will work with a Denon 90 WPC (x6) receiver or a Sony 100 WPC (x2) receiver.
Any help would be great.

they will play and work, but you will want to get a good power amp down the road, good luck.

I think I figured out what my brother was talking about, but I don't know if it has anything to do with amplification. I was just reading about a non-common ground SDA cable. What is the deal with these?

don't worry right now about all that, if you are using a receiver, you will have no issues with the non common ground amp. Later if and when you buy a pair, and want to get a separate amp, then you can worry about it.

    Go and get them
