Any of your nut jobs ever do anything like this?

When I was living at home.. many years ago... I use to hide my porno mags from my mom inside my speakers. :D

They were some no name brand speakers about the same size as the monitor 10's. the tweeter was mounted to plastic.. and it was nearly the width of the cab. One day while cleaning my room and looking for a new "hiding place" for my porno mags. I discovered that the tweeter housing was just glued in. So i loosened it and since there was no padding inside. I would stick my mags in there for safe keeping. ha ha ha.

Both speakers could hide quite a few mags if I remember right. ;)

Anyone else have a good hiding place for such things?

I have no idea what made me think of this tonight. I'm not even smashed. I haven't drank anything.

Funny how we remember things like that from our youth.

    C'mon guys. it's show and tell time. :p

    this was years ago. before I got into good quality audio. It's not like I do this with my speakers now. ;) there are better hiding places instead. Waaaaaa!!!

    Hmm... Just be thankful DB didnt own a SVS... it wouldnt be a subwoofer...itd be a magazine -rack-

    well this sure took a turn for the worse.

    now i'm being called a serial killer. where did that come from?

    i guess guys had this come from a "respected" member of this forum. it would have been taken in the intent it was meant to be taken. funny, laughable.

    but since it came from me and you all don't know me. it's taken to serioulsy. and now fingers are being pointed and i'm being called gross, serial killer, creepy.

    but had this come from Russman or many other members here. it would have been funny.

    Guess i'm just not a funny guy. Or i have a weird sense of humor. and it's to out there for you all.

    It's cool though. No harm done. I won't post this kind of creepy stuff anymore.

    I'll take this down if it's to similar to being serial killler material.

    I woke up one morning and my Maggies' sock was down around it's ankles.....and I felt strangely satisfied.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Its meant for SPL competitons as Sid said but also its supposed to be over the top so people will notice MTX again.

    MTX makes some of the best audio equimpent to be had (subs and amps) but yet theyre regarded as kind of cheap, i.e. Circuit City brand. The truth is they are as good as any high end brand out there. I think theyre trying to get more respect in the CA world as more than just a CC brand or makers or really loud gear.

    Theyve always been one of my favorite brands and I wish em luck.
