RE: My New Sharp Aquos 37" Display!

Well, after searching and looking at everything, I finally made a decision and purchased a Sharp Aquos. It was fairly easy to set up and I must say I am delighted. First of all, how nice to deal with something that only weighs 51 lbs. as opposed to lugging around my old Sony Wega at 185 lbs. The picture resolution and color saturation is lovely. There is also quite literally no glare or reflection coming off of the display, which really helps in my room. It also does quite a nice job of showcasing my DVD's with the help of my trusty Denon 5900. I have future plans to hook this display up to a new computer so that I can surf the web, which should be way cool. I'm happy I chose this unit.

That's a great LCD. Congrats on your purchase. Nice DVD player to go with it too!

Out of all of the LCDs I've seen, Sharp definitely has the best picture. Now they just need to get rid of the 4:3 format!Brian Knauss

Yes, I saw the Sony's. They did not have detachable speakers, which was an issue for me space wise. They also did not have all of the interconnect possibilities that the Sharp displays had. I intend to use this display with a computer also. I needed two DVI connections at a minimum.
