Bought these at a garage sale today for $27.06 (sales tax). Did I do any good?
Seem to be in excellent physical condition, a little dirty still, I’ll have to put a good cleaning on them when I get time.
Probably hook them up early next week and see how they sound (receiver boxed up due to a room remodel).

Those cabinets look good. I remember seening some Norman Lab speakers at pawn shops in OKC, but I never listened to them. Let us know how they sound.

That's when you'll know. If they cost $1 or $500, if they sound good to you, you did well.

If you meant to try and turn these, well, I don't know about that... ;)

    Early 80's, $450/pair.

The have their following. Should sport the sought after Phillips 1" dome of the era.

    Cool speakers.

    Cheers,

I’ll probably pass these along at some point since I really have no room for them.
What made the deal really sweet is they were at an estate sale run by one of the local professional outfits who know what they have and get premium dollar for the goods.
I think I got over on them this time.

    Russ,
    Thanks for that info.
I know you dabble in the older/vintage speakers, any recommended cleaner for the cabs. & drivers?
I’d hate to screw them up with some crap my old lady has.

You need to ask Jesse (F1Nut) about wiping the cabs down with any special. A little windex is all I usually use.

You can 'dust' the surround with a towel wet with Windex to, if they are rubber.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Unusual to see a manually resettable, circuit breaker in a design...
    More later,
