i got 2 polk momo 12 svc and a kenwood 800w amp 150x2 at 4@ or 460x1 4@ or 800x1 at 2@ i have the speakers wired parallel for a 2 ohm load and bridged my amp for the full 800 is this to much or just right it bangs way harder then any thing i have ever heard as far as 2 12s go

over drive my amp i have the gain inbetween 1 and .5 and lpf volume is at 100 and the bass boost to 6db my head unit is the new pioneer 770mp 50x4 sub control is on 80hzTesting

this is what i'd do: use the crossover on the headunit only - set the amp to fullpass or off, whatever. then do this to set your amp for maximum safe output... but most importantly, back the bass boost off to zero, you're trying to pull way too much power out of that amp, and it's pretty close to the edge already.It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

Also, turn that bass boost OFF! Youre pushing that amp full blast and its probably very near clipping. If it clips, itll send about 1600 watts thru your sub, ending it quickly!polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
