I think I would have voted for "High Speed Internet" but don't like that to much as I wire up 5 a day to take out 3 a day. 1 of them being in "Error" don't ask me how  I get the order to disconnect.? All in all it's my job, wire, install cards, disconnect what ever.

    Ok a work **** also.

Yeah, I almost went with high speed net as well but my cell phone has become invaluable to me. I used to make fun of people that had them now I feel naked without mine.

However - I NEVER take it into the gym. Nothing pissed me off more than some head's stupid ringer going off right in the middle of a set!

Are you that important that you cant be out of contact for a freakin' hour!?

Maybe this shouldve been saved for the "rant" thread!

High speed for sure. No question. Had that choice been omitted, my pick would have been much harder.

The cell phone has had the greatest impact on my life - a curse and a blessing all wrapped up in one.

I would have voted for the Ronco Popiel Pocket Fisherman had it been on the list.

Hearing tonight and tomorrows meteorological forecast, honorary mention goes to the snowblower.

The space pen (how DOES that thing write upside down?)

Incandescent bulbs (let there be light!)

AM/FM radio (how the hell can it be that I get music out of the thin air?)

    Bottle Rockets (minature RPG's)

Internal combustion engines (can you imagine steam powered vehicles today?)

The Acoustic Suspesion loudspeaker & Hoffmans Iron Law (changed EVERYTHING)

Distilleries. (I can't fathom how much toliet paper I'd be buying, if all I had was rotten apple juice)

    Cheers,

How the f!ck could I have omitted bottle rockets? THANK YOOOOOUUUUUU! Honorary mention to small diameter lead pipe, and corner molding in order to be accurate with them.

I must definitely say high-speed internet right now. In the next few years, my cell phone might become more prominent in my life, but it's not that big a deal right now.
