CMT is running a Dukes marathon this weekend. I wish I would've found out earlier! I grew up with this show spending summers during the day at my gram's. I used to watch every episode that TNN showed...

    Yup. Back in the early 80's Id be at the TV every Friday at 8 to watch em! I loved the show!!

    I was watching a little of them last night and it brought back some memories.

    Over the summer, I work at a go cart track. We made a car to look like that, looks pretty hot. maybe i'll get a pic of it for you guys to see

    Not really, no. Jessica Simpon as Daisy? Pfft...

    It'll feel like when they brought in Coy and Vance Duke to replace Bo and Luke when they were gone for a season. Just, not right...

    And it can never be the same without Uncle Jesse and Boss Hogg. Plus Waylon Jennings is gone, too.

    There was a movie already made, I'm pretty sure, that had the original cast in it. Can't remember what they called it, though.

    I just got the first season on DVD. Awesome show!

    I agree it will probably suck.

    It was the characters that made the show. Bo and Luke were cool and all but Roscoe was the star as far as I am concerned.

    Plus, as mentioned, Boss Hogg and Uncle Jesse are gonna be hard to replace.

    I say let it stand.

    I would like to see a movie of Miami Vice tho. Bring back all the original characters! I loved that show!

    Take a look at Arnold Shwarzenegger or Harrison Ford. My God! Theyre all gray and wrinkled! But it was just a couple years ago he was in Raiders of the Lost Ark....wasnt it?
