New Speakers

Hello everyone. I just purchased some front speakers for my car. they are the dx6's. i was reading some of the post and seen a "40 hour break in period" do all polk speakers need this? do my speakers need this? thanx for any help

    i dont think so but im not sure
    i havent read anything about breaking in those speakers and i doubt u would have to
    you probably read that about the subwoofers

    This usually applies to subwoofers. Smaller speakers do less work, therefore the suspension of the driver does not need the usual break-in that a larger woofer would. But please don't try to drive 20 hertz at 100 watts into them.
