Corporate Training done right

I'm still working through the after effects of a rough "training" session yesterday. It strated with the usual registration at 11:00 then the first item on the agenda was lunch. OK good start, then we went through the usual afternoon sessions of group meetings and feedback from 1:00 till 5:00. Break for half an hour then on to the evening. Dinner, a casino night (complete with scantily clad young ladies dressed as show girls), open bar, video games, and around 15 grand in prizes. I came home this morning with a new Ipod mini and one hell of a headache. Hope this is going to become the new standard format around here for meetings.

Really....I need some "training" too....if you know what I mean. Especially from scantily clad young ladies dressed as show girls.
Can't believe my supervisor declined my request for in-house Powerpoint training at my current job. -
The tide has finally started to turn. Business is finally starting to take care of the demoralized employee. There's actually a few jobs out there and the pay is starting to creep back up. Sounds like NCrewson is in sales. The IT folks never get treatment like that. Can you imagine scantily clad women walking around a bunch of programmers?
