your advice:upgrade my ht system
Hi from Barcelona.
I actually have rti38 fronts, csi30, r15 surrounds and a psw202 subwoffer. Receiver:Marantz 4300
Iwould like upgrade my sistem.
Wich will be the logical first "step"?
Change the receiver? (i had thought a Denon 3805, HK630, or Nad 763.)
Or better change the fronts? (to a Rti70 or Rti8)
Or even change the subwoofer? (psw404 or similar)
Wich component would I notice more "change"?
Thanks.

Welcome, I've been to Barcelona 4 times---Lovely city and country.
I would personally upgrade the sub first. Everything else you have is very good....Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
You will notice the most change with a subwoofer upgrade. Checkout the Polk PSW505, or the SVS PB10.

Your receiver's fine for now. If you were to upgrade, the HK 630 is a fine choice(I'm biased), as is the NAD. I'd probably recommend the NAD over the HK. You could get the RTi70's and move the the 38's to the rear. Or, upgrade your center to the CSi40 and move the 30 to the back for 6.1. But, like the others said, the sub upgrade would probably be the most noticable. I used to own the 404, and it's not a bad sub. It'll definitely give you better performance than the 202. The 505 is a little better and will play a bit louder. The SVS PB10 should whoop both of them, though, and it's only $430, about the same price as the 404.

Good call! I didn't think of that.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
Thanks to everyone.
The fact is that there is no svs subwoofers here.
My options are subwoofers from polk audio, jmlab, audiovector, b&W and kef. That's all. Your advice?
Anyway, because the neightbours, i don't need a subwoofer which plays very loud.
I had thougt change the fronts too, to a rti8 o rti70, but then i must change the receiver (the marantz sr43000 don't have enough power to "drive" a pair of rti70 o rti8) and well, i would be changing too many things and my budget is not very high.
What do you think?

Your receiver (80 wpc) should be able to drive the RTi70's or RTi 8's just fine. You don't need to change the receiver for those speakers.
Get a new subwoofer first, then change out the fronts. Try a Polk 505 sub.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
