Anyone out there here of a group from Belgium called "Hooverphonic"? NO! Aww man, that's too bad! They're actually a great group with excellent recorded material and smooth mellow female vocals. I absolutely love 'em!! Do yourself a favor and give 'em a try. Here are a few of my other recommended faves:
-Jeff Buckley
-Doug Martsch (from Built To Spill)
-Daniel Ash (from Love & Rockets)
-Jim White
-Beth Orton
-Eric Johnson
-Grant Lee Buffalo
-Zero 7
-Thievery Corporation
-The Orb
-Electric Skychurch

Ok, I'm gettin' carried away here. If you get a chance to audition some of this stuff, then you'll get a sense of how diverse my tastes are. As it happens to be, I'm listening to The Who-Quadrophenia while I compose this. Go figure!
Anyway, if any of you out there have or heard of any of these, let me know! I have about 400+ CD's in my library and I'd love to exchange interests with y'all! My source for most of this comes from a local college station (91.1 KLSU) as in LSU the college! Pretty cool huh!
If you don't drive a Jeep, then please stay on the pavement.
