I'm not impressed. It seems the more expensive the equipment gets the more fugly it gets as well!

Put me down for a couple $3500 power cords, seems the one on the garage fridge is a bit frayed.

Nice stuff, but not very realistic or obtainable for the average schmoe.

The Orpheus by AUDES is one good looking speaker...

Tried counting the "top 5" sound rooms, but lost track around 7...

    Remember........."just use water" on it.
Although a little oil sure makes for better lubrication.

Avoid Crisco. I understand it's shortening.

    Man just the thought.

A big place filled with nothing but the best audio manufacturers in the world. Each having their own room for you to go into and audition exclusively. Then move on to the next room and demo their offerings.

The Burmester speakers are F***ing ugly as sin!

The MBL speakers....WTF? What kind of design is that? Looks like H.G Wells time machine!

The McIntosh stuff gives me a big boner! :D Love the analog meters.

That big **** turntable on the huge stand...WHY?

Is it my imagination or does the Audes speaker look just like the LSi 25 and 15?

LOVE the Cary tube preamp. Somewhat simple but so classy!

All in all, way beyond my budget.

Good luck getting a decent demo, or a demo at all for that matter. If you're not someone "important", they generally don't care for you. People have complained up and down about people like Alpine who only let special souls hop in the vehicles for a listen.

If you read some of the CES diary articles on audioholics, you'll see what I mean.

you know, while the pictures were quite cool, I really have to say that I'd have SERIOUS reservations buying $15K SPEAKER CABLES from a guy who can't SPELL let alone use proper grammar!
