    I married one.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I had (rest his little soul) a cockatiel named "spike." Spike was cool, I miss the ol boy--very smart and had a large vocabulary.

    The mom and pop fish shop I used to go to had a parrot named Bogey. They're closed now but I'm sure Bogey's still with the owners. He used to greet the customers as soon as they walk in. That bird could talk all day. Very cool bird. Is it true that they can live over 100 years?

    I've heard tell that there is a macaw in England that is 250 some years old, although I personally find that very hard to believe. I mean, think about it, if true, that bird was alive during the Revolutionary war!

    An old man is sitting on the bench at a bustop, when a young man with a bright blue and orange mohawk,
    and multiple colored tatoos walks up and sits down.
    The old man glances over a couple of times which seems to annoy the young man.
    Finally, the young man, in an exasperated tone says,

    "What! what's a matter old man, ain't you done anything crazy before?"

    The old man scratches his head and says,

    "Back when I was in the navy, I got drunk one night and had sex with a parrot,
    and I was just wondering if you might be my son?"


    I have a blue fronted Amazon.
    I got him as a baby and have had him about, 12 years or so.
    He talks alot, and screams more.
    And he has recently mentioned the fact that he's ready to find a new residence.

    I dont like animals that can talk...and will do so when they please...would annoy me so bad...

    Years ago a book store I frequented had a myhna bird. A customer approached the bird and tried to get it to talk. "Polly want a cracker", that kind of crap. Giving up the customer walks away. A second later the bird in perfect English states, Hey moron don't you know birds can't speak"! Thought the guy was going to crap his pants.
