Finally went and saw it tonight. Phenominal movie! Acting was superb. Plot was beyond well thought out. The movie never had a spot where you thought it'd be ok to take a piss. The whole time I was fully entertained and didn't feel it missed a thing. Explained itself well throughout. A definite own for me. I was pretty impressed with the surrounds as well. CG was definitely off the charts.

Interesting way to rate a film. The "can I leave now to take a piss?" question. Or "does the discomfort of my bladder outway my interest in the film?"
I think you're on to something Toxis. The piss-o-meter. I give that film a 4 out of 5 on the piss-o-meter. That's 4 times I asked myself if the pain was worth sticking the film out to the end. We should market it.

Watched this last night and while enjoyable not something I'd need to see a second time. The effects were very CGI'ish looking, even quite cartoon'ish at times, the acting, well it's the "WOAH" guy. Story was simple. The best thing this film had going for it was the lovely Rachel Weisz.

    A good one-time rental at best. 5/10.

Another lackluster performance from Mr. No Talent, Keanu Reeves. How this guy makes movies is beyond my comprehension. Of course I contributed to his success, but I'm not excited about the fact.

    It was OKAY

I thought the story could have been layed out alot better. It was a good story, I just don't like the way they told it.

I'm not a big fan of kanunu, so I was a bit prejudiced going in, but I don't think he was the weak part of the movie. His acting was sufficient to get the job done - I just really didn't like the way they told the story...

it's funny to hear people say these things about someone who I think can honestly act (NOW!). Sure back in the Bill & Ted days, he was crap. He was still crap all the way up and a lil past Speed, but give the guy some credit. I think he's actually a good actor now.

But then again, people also think Halle Berry is Oscar worthy and I personally avoid everything (except X-men) she's been in because she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Even naked, I wasn't convinced.

It had some definite over the top cheese goin on for it, but the one effect that I totally dug was the old mexican man and the car.......

Fantastic Four ripped that right off, which I find a little humorous....

She did a decent job in "Monster's Ball", imo. She really got into that first sex scene with ole Billy Bob, didn't she?

I liked the movie as well.

I thought the story was semi interesting though not great.

There were times when the Cgi looked cartoonish

but thinking back after seeing it in theaters I still love the scene with the glass breaking....I just thought that was wonderfully "WOW" cool....

    Overall not a bad film...

I thought the guys acting was great for the movie...not weak in any means he played the character he was suppose to play...can't imagine who else should be there..

    "Goodbye,

and in case I don't see you...

    This movie...

Possibly has some of the lowest bass I've felt in a while! Every other scene had my teeth rattling....

Other than that, I thought it was pretty slow moving at the end, overall it is worth a rent. Worth a buy for the low bass...

Not bad ... but the movie just did not GRAB me like I expected it to. Some portions of the movie did seem a little "cheazy" , but was worth a rental .

this wasn't supposed to be a scary movie or something to make you jump. It's for entertainment only and I thought it was very well done. Acting was right on IMO, special effects were amazing, the Devil in a white suit was a kick **** touch, the sound was great and Rachel is a total hottie. Oh well... not everyone can like every movie. :D

It was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed the car crashing into the possessed dude. Pretty cool effects, but at times a little heavy on the CGI. Reeves did okay in this role, but he was a little bit better in The Devil's Advocate. I give it about a 6 out of 10.

I'm waiting for this to come to cable (now that I get all the movie channels in HD, I wait for these types for that, then think about buying it). From the comercials it looks pretty cool. And from most of these statements it definetly looks like something to catch and make an opinion on.

As far as K.R.'s acting.... it bites. I enjoy him and all, but he's the same guy in every movie. I even suffered through 'A walk in the clouds', and it was Neo and or the Guy from Speed in a love story.

Does anyone know what he was trying to do with his tattoos before the angel dropped in and stopped him? They made it seem like he was saving up some magic trick for a special occaision but then the angel dropped down on him. Whats up with that?
