My first post over here, so give me a warm welcome
Jusy received my set of DB6750's, and I would like you guys to help me choose an affordable amp that will give it the power it needs. I have selected a couple amps myself, these are my options:
- 2nd hand DLS ca21 (100w rms x 2 @ 4ohm)
- Ground Zero GZRA2200x (125w rms x 2 @ 4 ohm)
- Hifonics Nemesis NX
- RockfordFosgate punch 301s (75w rms x 2 @ 4 ohm)
- Soundstream XTA-360.2 (90w rms x 2 @ 4 ohm)
- Helix Dark Blue 2 (80w rms x 2 @ 4 ohm)
I don't know if you are familiar with all these amps, because I am from The Netherlands and I suppose we have a slightly different offer of brands here in Europe.. If you have other suggestions please post them over here, especially "underdogs", cheap amps wich are better tested/sound better than famous brands.

Welcome to the forum Chili.
Helix all the way! They are made by Brax which are probably the best amps in the world.
Other than that, I would second Cody's list.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Brax... yummy....

But the Dark-Blue line is the cheapest line of Helix, mentioned amp costs about 150 dollar.. And damn it is ugly... Then again, quality can't be poor when it's made by brax...

every company has its "crap" line -- usually such a line does not actually represent the company as it's just bargain basement stuff - do your homework on it before you jump on it bud.The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge
