MP3 CD Player

My cousin is looking to get a MP3 CD player to go with his 2 channel setup that he has. I realize MP3 is a crap format when looking for audio quality, so let's just assume we're not looking for audio quality, but rather a quality MP3 CD player. He doesn't want to spend any more than $200.
One important feature he's asking for is for there to be a display on it to say what track, artist, etc. is currently playing.
If you guys know of any units could you please link me? Maybe show me online places he could buy one. I appreciate all your opinions in advance.
Also....if anyone has one of these they'd like to sell, he'd be open to that as well. I'll handle the transaction for him and my cred. on the Flea Market is A-OK. Just check out Shack's thread in that forum.

*edit* and no...he doesn't want a cable from his computer to his receiver. I know that works, but it's not an option for him.
Myself on the other hand....I'd be interested in this. How long of a cable can you buy. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum (which has the front mounted sound port) on my computer, but the TV is quite a ways from my TV. I realize that a cable that long is a bad thing, but it would be nice to have regardless.

you can get a Pioneer DV-563s (discon, but if you look hard enough, even Crutchfield might have one).I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

It doesn't look like that has the text display readout option, unfortunately.

you right, I don't believe any of those older players have the MP3 readout. How bout the current version of it? I think something like 578.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Roku Soundbridge? Or whatever its called? It has the display, but its not a standalone player. It plays MP3s off your home network.
There are other network MP3 players out there with a display too. -
I'll check that out.
He's really just looking for a Stand alone CD player that plays MP3s as well, but readout is important for him.
He's just buy a DVD player with that, but they don't have the readout on it unless you have it hooked up to a TV. -

A few questions:
- Does he want a "CD Deck" or a portable player he can take along?
- Will he always want to use CDs, or does he want one that can store the music on a hard disc/internal memory as well?
- Does he want a digital output, or is an analog connection between the player and the receiver acceptable?
- Does he want a TV display as well, or just a deck on the player with track info?
- CD Deck
- Always wants to use CDs. I guess the internal hard drive would be a nice bonus, but that will probably affect cost, right?
- Analog is more than acceptable.
- He just wants a deck on the player with the track info. That's what is most important to him.
Thanks! -
How far away is his computer from his Speaker setup?
Why not look at the wireless media players so he doesn't even have to bother with the MP3 burning?
I have yet to see a display on CDP that warrants it anything near adequate with regard to the quantity of information acutally displayed of the MP3 being played.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -

FWIW I got the Netgear MP101 wireless music player today for $50. I am setting it up tonight.
I'll be happy to report back if its something your cousin is considering.
