Mitsu. remote...Denon dvd...HELP!

Picked up a Denon DVD 2200 and my Mitsubishi remote will not operate it.
Remote came with my Mitsubishi TV(MITWS48311) it has one code for a Denon dvd player but it does not work. The remote does control my Denon 3803’s on/off and volume fuction(different code). Seems to me it should control the dvd player also.
I know I’ve done it right, got the receiver to work.

Bought the television 11-09-02.

Please share some knowledge.

    You'll need to get a universal learning remote......just the way it is.
