Bought them in 87 while in the army and they are powered by a haffler 500 amp. they sounded great when i bought them and after reading forum I know i need to replace tweeters. Mybe more but tweeters first. soon they will be back to there glory days. Allso are there any thoughts on my ps audio 250 delta amps and infinity 9 kappa speakers. thanks roger

    Welcome to the forum!

Glad you're getting back into your gear. I can't comment on the Hafler or Infinity stuff, but the PS Audio Delta series (I believe yours are the monoblocks, no?) is a fine power amp in my book. I have the Delta 200 stereo version (thanks to another forum member) and it drives my SDA SRS's nicely with plenty of headroom.

If you're unsure of your SDA model number, the difference between the SDA 1 and SDA 1A, as I understand it, is the presence of a raised plastic bezel framing all the drivers in the 1, absent in the 1A. Both use 4 MW6501 drivers and 2 horizontally oriented tweeters. 1B's and 1C's have vertically oriented tweeters and different drivers. The 1C's have an end cap style cabinet.
