 haha -
yea well one just went on the bay for $250 + $60 to ship. I think that is taking advantage. So I put a low limit.
-
Here ya go champ, a little more than ya wanted to pay but you'll make it up in the cheaper shipping.

WHOOOOOO PEEEEEEEEEE!!!
That made my day! THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!
Now I just have to figure out how to fix it's "broken grill tab." any sugestions?
and NO I will not leave the grills off. That is asking for a finger in a tweeter. -
I'd just like to say thankyou for posting that auction. It made my day, it is something I have been looking for since december.
I'll do a webpage when I get the center in.
AHHH what a day! This was heading to be such a bad week and today has just been great. Thanks PolkATeers!
Now what will be the next itch?
My current system:
Onkyo TX-DS797
Front: RTi38s
Center: CSi40!!!!
Rears: Polk MiniMonitors
Sub: HSU VTF-2
Cables: Monster and Radio Shack mix
Satalite: DirecTV with TIVO
XBox
DVD: Sony DVP-S530D
the system is used 95% Tv 2.5% movies 2.5% games
I have a hard time rationalizing cable money. Perhaps a multi disk dvd player that could read CD-R's or maybie some RTi70s or maybie an amp. hmmmm well whatever, I'm happy now.

seriously, Graymane finds the BEST auctions....
-
Very interesting, I bought one from the same guy today. It all seems legit; he must of had 2 I'm guessing. Mine says broken tab too...but the original jumpers were differant on the I bought. I saved 30 bucks too.

Could I get a tracking # when it’s available.
Thanks, nice to do business with you.
Sincerely,
Peter -
ok I got mine. The box was totally thrashed but the front of the speaker was adequatly protected with a piece of cardboard. Got poor comunication from the seller and no tracking number. I dont think it was boxed right or FedEx really flexed on the porr box. But the speaker is great!
-
So the speaker works well and sounds great then? Glad you finally got it, was beginning to wonder there for awhile
-
Well sounding great? I dont know yet, too much school to take the time to watch a movie.
-
Well looks like you got the good one for your 30 more. Mine has got a broken grill a beat up corner and too many scratches to count. I hate it when I get something that looks so much worst than the pictures.
I ordered a CSI5 today, brand ****!ng new so at least this time I shouldn't be dissapointed. Now what the hell to do with this 40. Oh well **** HAPPENS. -
Why not try contacting Polk for the just the cabinet. I contacted Polk in Canada and they have the cabinet for the CSi40. Good way to save a speaker. LOL.Michael

No more CSI40 cabinets, I was able to get a grill for 20 bucks, but no cabinet. Just thought you guys would like to know for your own reference.
Peter
BTW if anyone has one of these in good conditionion they need to get rid of I'd be interested. -
E-Mail Walter Moser, Canadian Manager. He may have one.
