I was testing my speakers once with a CD that put out a test tone at various freq's between 20Hz-20Khz. When I got to 20Khz, nada, zippo, not a sound. I even called in the kids to see if they could hear it. Some said they could, others said they couldn't. I'm sure glad today's tweeters go up to 26Khz. That extension really fills it in for me.

I thought it was cool until I saw the price. $40:eek: Man, my 24k gold XLO Test&Burn In CD was cheaper.

We had an HP frequency generator at the last shop I worked at in the Army. Highest I could hear @ 72db was 13.5kHz, and struggled with that. "They" say that the average adult is limited to about 15kHz at normal levels. Supposedly only new borns can hear to 20kHz.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Hmm, then Bose REALLY does cover the whole Frequency Range??- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
