I've seen this infomercial quite a bit lately, and am intrigued by the business and was wondering if anyone had done anything through them before. They're a local (I'm assuming stores nationwide) "design shop" where you can go to do all shopping for anything that you could need for remodeling etc for wholesale prices.
I actually called them once and did get a return phone call, but told them that I didn't have a home (but was in the process of looking) and apparently I was blacklisted because I didnt' get any information packet sent to me the following 5 times I called...........****.....
Anyway.......I was curious if anyone had any info on them and how well they work?

My wife and I went to a very similar sales pitch a few years ago. They had lots of cheap crap that was...well it was cheap. The name brand stuff wasn't that cheap. A few bucks cheaper than retail at regular prices. A huge rip-off when you factor in the Membership fee's.
Don't bother. -
They boast all about the low prices on major brand names, so I figured it would be at least interesting to go and check out what they have and get a feel for the ideas of what their costs are.
Their membership fees I have no idea about. Do you remember how much they were looking for out of that part of the 'deal'?comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
I went to one of those pitches about 10 years ago, and they boasted about the discount they could get on Bose.:(

I can't recall the name of the group, but the fee was $500-$750.
I don't know if Direct Buy operates the same way but I'd advise reading the fine print. -
I have read that the membership fees come close to $3000. I have heard nothing but bad about that place.Matthew

Give it up Brett. They wouldn't have infomercials if it was really such a great deal. Go to moving sales and such in the high price end of town and do some real saving.

I read through a bunch of the reports through the link masanz1 gave and I'm definitely not up for spending that kind of money for their 'savings'.
It might on the other hand be somewhat fun to go there knowing that just to play....comment comment comment comment. bitchy.
