Good online retailers

I just asked this question on another thread but thought it would get a few more replies here.

I dont know of any online retailers for home audio other than Crutchfield and was wondering if they were anymore out there in the league of Crutchfield.

Im kinda skeered of ordering online and Crutchfield and Sounddomain are the only place Ill get car audio gear but I dont know of any trustworthy home audio dealers. I dont trust Ebay at all.

    Parts Express is a very reliable store, if you can find the speakers you want, they have a small picking of Home Audio, its much more of a DIY once you get to that.

    There's tons of 'em. What are you afraid of -- getting ripped off? I have just as much confidence purchasing stuff off ebay or audiogon than I do an e-tailer. There's rarely an issue if you use common sense. The lower prices for audio gear ordered off the net are definitely worth the "risk."

    There are 3 reasons Im leary of online ordering.

    1- Getting some remanufactured crap or repaired or open box or out and out knock off pieces. But you stick with authorized retailers and you dont have to worry as much.

    2- I like having a place to go back to if I have a problem. Its a whole lot easier when you can go back to a shop and grab the dude behind the counter in a choke hold till he gives you an exchange than emailing customer service and waiting for a reply.

    3- I hate waiting for my new toy to get here! :D

    Dealt with them many, many times. Prompt, knowledgeable, and when they drop prices, it's pretty far down.

    onecall.com is awesome. They sold me a new Onkyo cheaper than anyone, and called me a few days later after I received it just to ask if I got everything hooked up. A+

    I've also had good luck with ecost.com, they sent me a Denon 910 in three days, even though it said "out of stock"
