When you're in your 50's there's all kinds of cool stuff to look forward to. One of which is the colonoscopy .... woo hoo!
Mine is tomorrow....lucky me.
There is something really perverted about getting a colonoscopy on Valentines Day. Should I make the doctor tell me he loves me first? Will he respect me in the morning? Only time will tell.
Mean time I haven't been able to eat a freakin' thing all day. And I get to drink this wonderful laxative. Oh the joys of old age :(

Looks like we're both 1952 models Dragon.

Nothing like a 36 hour fast and then the ultimate violation I always say!

    Good luck man.

    Not me man.

No one ever has, or ever will, stick anything up my cornhole. If the Doc wants to know something, I'll feel around and let him know.

If it needs to be more exploratory than my finger can reach, they can shrink a high-tech military submarine, and send Raquel Welch in for a look see. I've seen 'em do it in Fantastic Voyage.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Anyone remember the episode of King of the Hill where Hank had a colonoscopy? Heh... Bobby drove the robotic camera. I think Hank was constipated or something...

Anyway, that should sufficiently derail this topic.

LOL! I'm afraid that unless you've got a 5 ft finger you better check into that sub. As far as Raquel Welch...I think she's seen better days.
I think you've got a ways to go before 50 anyway. Maybe you'll change your mind by then. However, until then it might behoove you to eat lots of broccoli, bro.

Be careful what you ask for...

GG, dragon... '52... Me, too... Musta been a hell of a year...

Just got "scopy'd" myself two weeks ago. Colin cancer took my Dad and so for me, at my age, it was a no brainer.

Being knocked out, floating on a Demoral(sp?) cloud, it was no biggie... Now drinking a gallon of Colyte the day before to the point where it is essentially pouring through you... well, I've had more fun.

I had two pollups removed, one large and one small, and an anxious week of waiting before I got the biopsy results. Thank God, both were benign... but that was one long, effin' week...

Given my family history and the pollups being present, I get to do it again next year...

    And yes, doro, I got an 8 x 10 glossy... if you're interested... :D
    More later,
    Tour...

Bear - It's in my family as well and it's simply a given here as well. As long as it isn't a permanent tube in my arse, no problem, as I've had late night flu/drunken problems that created way more havoc then a CSpy.

It's all over already. I don't remember a thing after the meds hit exept coming out of it and thinking they hadn't done anything yet. Very strange feeling. Looks like all's clear on the western front. I can't believe how slow i'm typing....and thinking.

No way around it Dragon, it is the ultimate defiling. When I had mine the Doc kept his very very very attractive nurse in the room, cant say if this really helped but kept me from whining in front of her, just remember to PUSH back like you are taking a dump!!!

I'm glad to see you guys taking care of yourselves. It's not the most pleasant thing in the world, and waiting for the results is stressful, but better that than maybe major surgery or death.

Garbage in, garbage out. But some of that garbage clings to the walls of the pipeline and causes problems.

So what should ya do? Eat your vegetables.
