Better Bass

My current setup needs tweeking. I have 2 mm124, punch bd500.1, in a probox with .8 cub ft for each sub all in a reg cab 02 F-150. My goal is hard hitting, quick responsive, puchy bass. Is this possible with my current setup? I hear a lot of clipping and bottoming out of my subs. I think there are air leaks from my box. Is there a way to seal my box like for knox?
