Im looking for a preamp that is under 300. I would prefer that it had dd, dts, etc, but im not sure if at that price i can get anything decent with all those. My system right now is lsi9s in the front, 7s in the rear, and a b&k av5000 amp. currently i am borrowing my friends (aka rnp614) rotel rsp-980 preamp. it sounds good but it only has prologic and thx. im in no real rush to get something so i have time to wait and look, but i was wondering if you guys would have any suggestions for a make/model that i should be looking for. thanks

Look for a used Outlaw 1050 Receiver. They should go for around $300 and have preouts for 5 channels.

yeah i saw that rotel on audiogon. since i dont know a lot about preamps, i wasnt sure how good it is and if that price looks good or not.
