Unlocking cell phones

I just got a LG PM-325 maybe 2 weeks ago. The main reason I got it was that it was the only sprint phone that we(radioshack) offered, that had built in Bluetooth. Unfortunatly, the only profiles currently supported are the headset and dial up networking. The whole idea of bluetooth is also data transfer, etc. Anyone know of a way to unlock the phone, and also somehow add the other profiles to the phone? I know I've read about some people hacking their phone to give it more capabilitites...any ideas?

To hell with the White Strips, get some string and find a door knob.

try the last digits of your phone number, or just the generic 1234 or however many digits it asks for, all 0's might work too

Not not that type of unlocking. Moreso the capability to not have to use the phone for just sprint, as well as some features the phone should be able to do, but sprint had lg cripple the phone from doing. For instance the bluetooth capability to connect with your new cars system, so you dont need to touch your phone, your car has the voice dialing and speaker/mic. or with a printer, or with another phone to transfer data.

Ah, life is so simple without one of those. I highly recommend it.

I don't have the answer for you, but I'm sure you can find it at this forum:

    http://howardforums.com/

or the sprint specific forum there:

From what I've heard, the Bluetooth can be unlocked so don't give up the search.
