Diamond M3 are not as good as the MMC6500.
Diamond M6 are as good as the MMC6500 but cost $100 more.
Diamond Hex are better than the MMC6500 but cost $350 more.
Get the MMC6500.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I'd take anything Diamond over polk. For me...thats a no brainer. However...some folks do like the Polk speakers.

Yup, and Im one of them.
Diamond makes some great speakers. Ive not owned any of them but I have listened to them exstensively and got a good 20 minute audition in their demo car and they are outstanding.
The M3 is not as good as the MM6 or the MMC. The M6 was tho. It was a tad smoother but lacked the midbass and at nearly $100 more (retail) they aint worth it.
The Hex is quite good and is better than the MMC or M6. Its also $670!
I love the way the Carbon series sounds. They have a great "color" to them and sound awesome with metal. Now that my MM6's seem to have broken in, they sound outstanding! I wouldnt trade em for anything short of some MBQ Premiums.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
