Special Wire Strippers for Flat Cable

Does anyone know if I need special wire cutters/strippers/crimpers for use with AR Microflat Speaker Cable. I want to hook up Banana plugs and want to make sure I don't cut into the odd shaped speaker wire....anyone have this type of wire? What did you use? Anything I should avoid?
Went into Radio Shack today and the sales person was clueless...I think I stumped him with the microflat aspect of my question....
