New Thread #11: TOO FEW FORUMS?

Question: Should we make new forums, ie: Subwoofers, Stereo 2-Channel Sound, Home Theater Setup & Performance, Computer Sound... Should we break this forum out more specifically from four forums to (?) forums? What do you think? What do you suggest?

Interested,
Micah

i'm not trying to be anal here but that's how we got the klipsch site set up

    Troubleshooting
    2 Channel Stereo
    Home Theater
    General
    Subwoofers
    Computers

I wish they would add these two:

Actually, Dean, Justin and I were looking at the Klipsch site (seeing you were from there) and thinking about how well done it is. That's what prompted this thought.

Wouldn't more varied specific forums help more people to post and get replies more specific to their questions or issues?

I know I am new here but a "Polk Home Theater" forum would be nice.

it might be nice to have seperate 'newbie' & 'advanced topic' technical/setup forums. might help keep posts 'on-topic' a bit more

I know what you're saying Troy and I like this site the way it is myself. But someday this site is going to have 10,000 members and it's going to get ridiculous. Separating out the topics will help keep the site clean.

We have over 30,000. Obviously not that many of them participate, though.

If that many were participating - i don't think you could run it with the current format.

I think most people spend more time listening to music than talking about it.

Most people aren't as obsessed as we are.

Our site is the same way. Probably less than 50 people do 90% of the posting.

I'd like to see a 2-ch forum. However, I don't have any complaints about your current setup.
