i just purchased a pair of sda-2a's for my rears to match existing sda-2a's in the front. now i need a center. the cs400 has been highly recommended. what is the difference between the cs400 and cs400i? enough to make any difference? thanks! ron p.

There shouldn't be too much between the the CS400 and CS400i. Same cabinet design and FR. Same DOME tweeter.
The color of the drivers is different. I have owned both. I happen
to have my brothers CS400i that I sold him at my house right now. I could compare them, but I think I'm too lazy at the moment to unhook my center and hook his up. Sorry :o

I would get whichever one you find first, nothing to worry about as far as differences. The "i" stands for improved.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
