...That the shortest reign of any monarch on record was that of Louis XIX of France, whose tenure in royal office lasted but 15 minutes? On August 2, 1830, at Rambouillet, the Dauphin Louis Antoine technically became King Louis XIX upon the signature of the former king, Charles X, on an act of abdication. Fifteen minutes later, Louis signed another act of abdication, turning his crown over to Henry V. What else do you know?

That spider thing creeped me out too... worse than waking up with a spider bite, knowing it had been on you at one time that night...
Anyway-- I thought the percentage of people placing or receiving a phone call was amazing. As a person that works on computers all day, it's hard to imagine that discrepancy. And to think of all the crazy stuff going through our normal phone lines/ modems, like online banking, plane & concert tickets reservations, chat, email, etc, and some people don't even get calls. Inconvenient... but peaceful?

...you don't sleep anyway. You just linger in a semi-catatonic, neurosis-laden haze for a few hours every evening. That scares even the bugs and spiders away, not to mention it's less than charming effect on women.

Well if 'I am' is the shortest sentence.....then 'I do' must be the longest 'life' sentence! But that doesn't apply to me <g>!

    1. Nurple

Forceful pressure applied to one's nipple by another living thing. Varieties of nurples are defined by the color of the skin surrounding the areola post-nurple, the ideal post-nurple coloration being violet; hence, 'purple nurple.'
