Don't know if what I'm looking for exists yet, but I'm interested in acquiring a digital monoblock to power my center channel speaker. Or maybe a 2-channel digital amp that can be bridged???

Of course, I'm looking for something inexpensive either new or used (<$300). Just like to try out the digital thing to see what the hooplah is all about.

Thanks.

Actually, there is nothing 'digital' about them. They are analog switching amps.

We should all call them 'chip' amps maybe?

I thought that TEAC used a Tripath chip. If so, it actually can be considered digital due to its feedback path. If not, its probably not digital in the least bit.

I guess we should classify the "digital monoblock" as "switching monoblock" to be as PC as possible.
