I've got it on, with the sound muted, while I take pictures for some agon listings. I just can't break away from the tuned quarter waves on the 8w push-pull amp.

I swear, Jennifer Warnes is singing to ME. JUST me.

Dude, that **** canyon? What was THAT?

Steel guardrail on one side, solid ROCK on the other, 1 lane? I couldn't ride a bicycle through that and not screw up.

    AMAZING.

    Cheers,
    Russ

_Finally_.... I wait for WRC all year, then usually miss most of it :(. It used to be that if you turned on Speed in Primetime, WRC was on, and for hours :)

I'd say that they have nerves of steel but that is ALOT more than just nerves! Especially when there is ice on the road and you have about a foot of road on either side of the car. At those speeds, if you hit the wall on the one side, you're gonna bounce off and hit that guardrail. What is REALLY scary is that the stright parts don't HAVE a guardrail!

I can't remember if it was Tommi Makkinnen (sp?) or Marcus Gronholm but two years ago, on the Monte Carlo rally, one of the two tagged a stone wall on the edge of teh road. It kicked the back end of the car around and he nosed off of the rock wall on the left and slid to a stop with one front wheel and one rear wheel missing. The entire right front side of the car, back to the passenger compartment, was dangling over the side of something like a 30m drop. That's roughly a 90-100 foot drop. That would have been a pants cleaner for sure!

Yikes, that would definately be a high pucker factor...

The races with large drops, no way could I do that... It's all fun until death becomes a real possibility..
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

:( I just went to the website for Speed TV, and their schedule shows no FIA world rally for the next 5 weeks.
