OK, I sent my Jolida SJ502A to the shop a couple of weeks ago to get some mods done. They changed out the caps, diodes, volume pot, by-passed the balance, and dampened the chasis. In the meantime, I got some EH KT-88's. Hooked it all up yesterday, biased it, and sat back for some critical listening. Although the tubes haven't broken in yet, I've already noticed more detail. Also, prior to the mods, I felt there was something missing. I can't describe it in any other terms, but now everything seems to be in order. Sounds great, looks great, now I'm done (at least for a while).

Those are Audioquest Mammoth speaker cables. Are they great speaker cables, you ask? Hell, I don't know, but they sure look impressive.

Yep. They look good and work very well for my application. The WAF likes them, too.
