And it's got absolutely nothing to do this Audio or Video.:D
I just bought a new welder and have been dying to start fabricating. I haven't welded in years and was really happy that I was able to actually run a decent bead pretty quickly.
So...Whatcha Think?

Now that rear-end collisions aren't a concern, go after the front so you can push, too. Hell, make a full outer roll-cage
Did you make that hitch, too? Looks beefy.Ludicrous gibs! -

I bought the bumper..1/2 price to boot! Damn I'm cheap. Front winch mount bumper is on the menu as well but I'm not sure about building or buying yet. Rocksliders and some skids will be first. Hopefully my hinge kit will get here in a few days and I can finish the welding and get everything blasted and powder coated.
Here's another with the spare on the carrier. -
Nice work I would be proud of it also.

Looks good Frank. What kind of welder did you get? MIG, Arc? I'd really like to get a nice arc welder one day, sounds like a lot of fun.Graham
-
I picked up a Lincoln Electric 100HD Mig Welder from Home Depot. It's 115v and can be used with or without gas. I used it without gas and a .035" Flux-core wire. It's sweet!!
-
Very nice, you have a lot of potential...heres my last weekend project...a motorcycle lift

Migs are fer gurls

Thanks Keith, I still need to practice a bit more. Only problem I see in your pic is that thing only has 2 wheels.;)

Oh ****!
Eff it...it looks cool!
I'll install a hinge on the right side and a latch on the left. The carrier will swing open to allow access to the rear.:D Just waiting on the parts to get here. -
Two weeks ago I had my kids put the lift kit on. I was alittle pissed that they took so long and smudged up my beer bottles when I sent them to the fridge every time I ran low.

All done...With pic's this time!! D'oh!

Took it out yesterday to try out the suspension and make sure the carrier wouldn't fall apart.

Actually that's the first snow we've seen in a 3-4 weeks. The mountains are getting nailed but on the east side of the mountains it's been pretty dry. -
Awesome! I was a welder for about 6 years. Love it.
Weird someone posted a pic of a lift table. One of my father's companys makes them. Rolls-Royce of lift tables, actually.

Sweet! I was considering a scissor lift located in my crawlspace to raise and lower my 55" RPTV before going with a FP. Nice stuff Demi, very nice!!

Sent you a PM because I didn't want to hijack your thread.
What brand welder did you get? I'm still partial to Lincolns, but everyone seems to be going for the Millers a lot lately. -
I bought a Lincoln Mig from Home Depot.
Welder
It's small enough for my garage but will weld up to 1/4" steel, which is just right for my needs. One of my neighbors has a Cherokee and is interested in having me make a carrier for him as well. Might have found a new money making hobby.:) -
