i bought the db6500 and i would really like to use the tweeters, but can i use the crossovers without an amp?

    Yeah, you don't "need" to amp them, whichever input your using, weather it be from an amp or HU, goes into the input of the crossover. If you can, I'd get an external amp though, it's worth it.
