That screams fake, c'mon F1, tell me you didn't think that was real.If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent. -
Either the water along the coast is in the wrong place or the cars are. Fake... Besides, who in their right mind would think "Holy cow, look at the huge as wave about to kill my a$$, I think I'll take a picture!"There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

That is a fake that's been going around. Someone mentioned that they're driving on the wrong side of the road for that country....don't know exactly, but it is a fake.comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

count the floors of the bldgs...multiply by 10' - that wave is 150 - 200 ft tall  I think the actual wave was 20' (?)

Looks like it came right out of today after tommorow, infact, I am pretty sure it did.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I saw this show on the Discovery channel a couple of weeks ago. The scientists said that an earthquake induced tsunami can only be about 25 feet in height but can carry a huge mass of water over extreme distances.
10 story tsunamis are possible. They showed this bay in Alaska where a land slide did this. They also mentioned some islands in the eastern Atlantic (Canary) that would wreck havoc with a volcano induced mega-tsunami on the Eastern US, Europe, and England if it were to ever occur. Hopefully, we'll all be long gone before that ever happens.

Tsunamis are unlike wind-generated waves, which many of us may have observed on a local lake or at a coastal beach, in that they are characterized as shallow-water waves, with long periods and wave lengths. The wind-generated swell one sees at a California beach, for example, spawned by a storm out in the Pacific and rhythmically rolling in, one wave after another, might have a period of about 10 seconds and a wave length of 150 m. A tsunami, on the other hand, can have a wavelength in excess of 100 km and period on the order of one hour.
As a result of their long wave lengths, tsunamis behave as shallow-water waves. A wave becomes a shallow-water wave when the ratio between the water depth and its wave length gets very small. Shallow-water waves move at a speed that is equal to the square root of the product of the acceleration of gravity (9.8 m/s/s) and the water depth - let's see what this implies: In the Pacific Ocean, where the typical water depth is about 4000 m, a tsunami travels at about 200 m/s, or over 700 km/hr. Because the rate at which a wave loses its energy is inversely related to its wave length, tsunamis not only propagate at high speeds, they can also travel great, transoceanic distances with limited energy losses.Political Correctness'.........defined

There is a big difference in a 20ft. wave going <20kmph that breaks before the shoreline, and a 20ft. wave going hundreds+kmph that doesn't break and overtakes a coastal area or island that is probably just a few feet over sea level.
Scientists say tsunami shock wave travelled 12,000km an hour
Thats just my guess, I'm sure it's not that simple. -
