On another thread ( can't recall which one ) someone told another person to not bother bi-wiring or bi-amping BUT to get rid of the jumpers on his terminals. Anyone know why you shouldn't use them ?

cheap metal strips sound bad, replacing with good speaker wire will sound better, that is the thought.

Thanks. So if I'm currently using bananas on my bottom two terminals, how do I jump the top terminals? And also are the factory jumpers on my speakers considered "cheap".

You replace the stock (cheap) jumpers with new ones made of high quality speaker cable. You run the new jumpers just like the stock ones, from the bottom posts to the top posts. Use spades on the jumpers if you use bananas for your speaker cable or bananas on the jumpers if you use spades on your speaker cable.

Al, this is one of the more bizarre of the old audiophiles' tales which continue to float around. Speaker manufacturers who spend a lot of time and money designing and developing a good product don't then sabotage their own speakers by using a "cheap" connector which "sounds bad". Any reasonably conductive piece of metal has no discernible effect over the 2-3" involved.
