Does it actually make a difference over 480p?

And do the disc need to be HD encoded?

    HD DVD is a new format that will start to hit the market this year but is not available yet. They'll all be formatted in 1080i on the disk but you need to get an HD DVD player.

    Now if you're talking about up converting dvd players, that's personal preference. I have yet to see one that I like when the picture is upgraded (I don't see how you can ADD information to make it look better) but others swear it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.
