Any Solar pool heater installers?

I thinking of installing this myself as I cant get over the profit margin or the **** work you pay for sometimes, foolish or not. I will be installing this system at the other end of the house as my pool equipment is on the north end of the house. My plumping will be under the pool deck so the check valve & 3 way valve or installed horizontal and then straight into ground. Where should the vacuum break be installed what I have read is on the feed pipe about 4ft up. Can this be installed at the collector somewhere?

First and foremost, are you primarily interested in a HT pool setup or a 2CH only setup, because that will determine alot of things.
If you don't add some Panamax Surge Protection to your collector than you may be asking for trouble.
Also, I would highly advise that you upgrade your check valve to a PS Audio Check Valve, why? well, just because they have a better contact % than a regular check valve.
If you are going to enter the substrate and beyond, you better look into some Perfect Surface Copper conduit, as opposed to the oh' so out of style Single Crystal Copper conduit.
If you want some crazy high flow rates, definetly look into the Silver line of conduit, as it has a flow rate that will blow your mind.

Doro,
Thanks for the links at least one company would place the vacuum breaker at the collector panel. So I too feel good about placing it there. The company I buying this from used the vacuum on the feed side about 4 ft up, since this is going into the ground to come up at the other side of the house I was confused.

Steve, put the vacuum break at the collector. Then put drains at the low points on the inlet and outlet right above the takeoffs for the bypass (right on the collector side of the block valves). Be sure to plumb it in a way to allow free drain and be able to blow the system down if you choose to winterize.
