I just got these for my side surrounds. I would like to raise them about 6 inches, does polk carry a stand to fit these? If not, any suggestions? Thanks, Jeff

Lovan makes some 6" stands (website is www.lovanaudio.com I think). I know the JAZZ line has the 6" stand, maybe other lines as well.

Are you sure a 6" stand will be 'tall' enough? I use a 12" stand with my RTA-8s.

Thanks, I will check them out. I want the 8t's to line up with my RTA11's. the 8's are 6 inches shorter than the 11's. I was thinking of doing 12 inch stands for the 8's and getting 6 inch for the 11's. Do they sound better on stands? Thanks again

My RTA-8TLs definitely sound better on stands. My brother is running RTA-11TLs and he is also contemplating 6" stands; I suspect that they will sound better but I cannot give you a definitive answer.

If you're risk averse, you could get just the 6" stands for the RTA8s and try them with the RTA11s. If the 11s don't sound better with stands, just use the stands for the 8s and you're all set. If the 11s do sound better with the 6" stands, order 12" stands for the 8s. Just a thought...
