The question was about what looked better. I am fully qualified to voice my opinion of what looks better, a tube or plasma. As far as understanding the technology, no one really cares. Does one technology start looking better or worse because you find out how it works or what it costs?

So what exactly do I obviously not understand about the technology?

AND, BTW, who said I know a lot about audio? I'm just along for the ride. In that field as well I form my own opinions about what I hear, not by what everyone says. When I first got the idea to try tubes there was not one person on this forum who supported the idea. Not a single tube guy. What do I care, its my choice.
